  Mission Statement

To provide a forum for the integration of Diabetes and Cardiovascular research which promotes multidisciplinary collaborations between clinicians and scientists, enhances the careers of individuals working in these disciplines and improves understanding of, and quality of care in, Diabetes and Cardiovascular Disease.

The International Society of Diabetes and Vascular Disease (ISDVD) has been established to promote awareness and understanding of the interrelationship between the syndrome of metabolic diseases resulting in vascular diseases. These diseases result in a significant increased risk of fatal and non-fatal events such as myocardial infarction and stroke.

  Who can join the Society?

Membership of the International Society of Diabetes and Vascular Disease is open to health care professionals with an interest in diabetes and vascular disease.

  What does the Society provide?

The Society provides a unique forum exchange of research and information which improves research and patient care. The Society:
Publishes its own official journal - Diabetes and Vascular Disease Research
Organises scientific conferences and workshops to review original research and state-of-the-art reviews.
Sponsors original research.
